Lion Float
What's a flower festival without flowers? Well... that wouldn't be right. So here they are. Some of the pictures I got on the floats during the Panagbenga Festival 2013 at Baguio City, Philippines. The one above is by M-Llhuillier, a big company that operates hundreds of branches all over the Philippines. It shows-off a really-nicely-done lion all made from flowers! It has an eagle on top, also made of flowers... and they are all just so amazing. You got to love them for the effort they've poured over this wonderful float. And also loving the parade, is my mom who also stars in this photo.

Cosplay at BestThe Panagbenga Float Parade 2013 is not all about flowers and floats. There are those who joined the festivities without any flower or a float. They are the Cosplayers! A good number of them turned out for the parade. And this lady on the picture, who is all dressed for the occasion, draws the most eyes for her full-bodied and realistic outfit. But behind that warrior-type look, she was really nice and was kind enough to have a picture with us (and everyone else in the crowd who saw her).

Large Crowd in Baguio's Panagbenga Festival Float Parade (2013) |
Robin Padilla (Actor)Click! Got this while pushing through the crowd during the busiest day of them all (in Baguio City)--the Panagbenga Festival 2013 Float Parade. With my long lens it looks like he (Robin Padilla) is really waving at me for a picture... But I was far at distance when I got this. Click to know more about Robin Padilla. |
Parked Victory Liner BusesTaken during the 2013 Penagbenga Festival in Baguio City Philippines. These are parked Victory Liner buses, but most of them you can hear their engines running. Parked this closed? So packed? What if a bus right there from the middle would need to go out? Well that shouldn't happen. Or else it would take a a whole lot of effort to move the other buses. The tall building visible on left is the private terminal building of Victory Liner. |
